2008 Predictions–Blair Robertson

By Administrator | December 31, 2007

Blair Robertson 2008 Predictions:

I work primarily as an entertainer. During my shows, I read the minds of members of the audience. At the end of my shows, I make verbal predictions of the upcoming months ahead. This portion of the show has garnered me a strong reputation, although I only present it for entertainment… fun!

Over the years I have made many predictions with the media–mainly political predictions–earning me the moniker of “Canada’s Psychic Pundit”.

For the first time ever–I am sticking my neck out and predicting a few worldwide events that will take place in 2008.

Note: Just as a weatherman predicts things that they may not particularly wish to see happen, the following predictions are only as I have seen them. While I am typically 85% correct, I sincerely hope that several of the following do NOT come true. Although some predictions are admittedly ‘dark’, these predictions are provided as entertainment only.

2008 will be remembered at ‘The Year Of The Assassin’. The largest amount of assassinations and assassin attempts will occur in September 2008.

Rudi Giuliani will be elected US President; John McCain will be Vice President.

Fidel Castro will die in January 2008.

Facebook will suffer a major security breach and will be forced to shutdown early spring. Class action lawsuit regarding privacy violations to follow soon after.

Apple will introduce revolutionary flash computers at their January launch available in March. Apple’s market share will increase at least 3 percent in 2008.

2008 will see business improving overall. The stock market will see a slow but steady increase starting in February. Most notably, as older CEO’s retire, they will be replaced with much younger CEO’s with fresher and more unique approaches to growing business.

Hurricane Gustav will hit Florida mid-September resulting in approximately 50 deaths.

Major floods will occur in August with an emphasis on Indonesia being hardest hit.

An extremely large tornado will hit Kansas in May resulting in devastating property loss but remarkably few lives lost in ratio to the destruction.

Japan will be rocked by several major earthquakes, the most significant being in December with a magnitude of 8+

A brutal fire will occur in a nightclub in Europe near the beginning of December costing the lives of close to 100 people.

A large ship will sink in or near Indonesia in April under “strange” circumstances. Many lives will be lost, needlessly.

A 737 Airplane will crash into the Ocean near Malaysia in December. No survivors.

A huge explosion will occur at an oil refinery the week of October 12th.

Less than a dozen miners will be trapped in a partially collapsed mine in December 2008. I believe and hope that all will be saved and will escape with minor injuries.

In entertainment:

Paris Hilton will thwart a kidnapping attempt in early December. A threat will be made on Bill Gates.

Britney Spears, in the face of mounting personal difficulties, will make a remarkable effort to get straightened out.

Katie Holmes will become pregnant in Spring.

Pamela Anderson will divorce… and… remarry in 2008!

Prince William and Kate Middleton will become engaged, snub tradition and marry in the summer.

Ben Mulroney will marry Jessica Brownstein in the fall of 2008.

Medium John Edward will be admitted to a psychiatric hospital for hearing voices in his head. Seriously.

Oprah Winfrey will announce wedding in Spring.

Watch for surprise appearances of Tina Turner in concert creating a sensation for her energy, youth and drive.

High School Hypnotist Provides Safe, Clean, And Hilarious Motivation To Students

By Administrator | November 21, 2007

Nobody understands school spirit like high school hypnotist Blair Robertson. Not only did he get to experience the effects of a hilarious show on his own school, he lived the positive aftermath of motivation a high school hypnotist could bring.

You see, all Blair Robertson wanted to be was a magician in high school. He’d perform his comedy magic and mindreading at assemblies. Eventually, he ran out of tricks and stunts to do and his mentor suggested doing a hypnosis show.

Robertson didn’t believe in hypnosis, but wanted to perform badly. So he gave it a try and was astonished at the thunderous laughter it brought. The young high school hypnotist wowed the crowd and was walking on air after the show.

The following day was business as usual, or so he thought. The school was raving about it, and the students who participated in the show. To Robertson’s amazement, the school talked and joked about it for months after. He knew he had found his niche.

“A high school hypnotist needs to have a clean show and a clear understanding of what he is delivering. The show is NOT about hypnosis, it is about entertainment and building school spirit,” says Robertson. “The secret to my success has been that I have focused on making the volunteers the stars and not me. The formula has been working wonderfully for over 20 years.”

Since his first show in 1983, high school hypnotist Blair Robertson has entertained over 2500 schools. Add in his corporate work, he’s performed over 2500 shows worldwide.

“I love corporate work. No doubt about it. But there’s nothing like a crowd of high school students. They are lively, fun, and outrageously energetic. They are, without a doubt, the best volunteers I get and the best audiences to work for.”

Secret Of Successful Corporate Event Planning Revealed…

By Administrator | November 21, 2007

Here’s an article that has been passed around the world–literally–with the true secret to success in planning any corporate event!

Secret Of Successful Corporate Event Planning Revealed…

If you are in charge of corporate event planning and you are looking for something that will turn your meeting into an outstanding event—at a reasonable fee—then this might be the most important article you will ever read.

Blair Robertson has been a stage hypnotist and Mindreader for over 20 years and went “corporate” by accident. Since then, he’s been an in-demand entertainer at corporate functions all across Canada and the U.S. and regarded as a corporate event planning specialists dream come true.

“When I was young, all I wanted to do was colleges and high schools. Never having had a ‘real job’ made me think that there was no way corporations would want hilarious entertainment,” says Robertson, “evidentially I was wrong!”

Blair started in high school and when one of his friends graduated he got a call to do a sales meeting at his company. Blair reluctantly agreed and was shocked to find out that it was fun for him and the corporation. They brought him back several times.

Today Robertson realizes that effective sales meetings and rallies need to have a blend of seriousness as well as fun and motivation. Robertson provides event planners a hassle free way of entertaining and motivating the troupes.

“Nothing beats the audience involvement of a stage hypnosis show. Volunteers from the company come up on stage and end up being the stars of the show. The audience laughs at the ridiculous antics (but never degrading or embarrassing in any way) and talk about it long after I’ve left. Nothing—and I mean nothing—can beat the motivation and entertainment level”

Hypnosis Shows–Popular Orientation & Frosh Week Entertainment

By Administrator | August 31, 2007

Orientation / Frosh Hypnotist Offers Campus Committees Affordable Clean Entertainment

Popular college and university frosh hypnotist Blair Robertson been entertaining campuses during orientation week for over 20 years.

While college programmers tend to favor x-rated hypnosis shows in their bars, Robertson has always kept his show squeaky clean and thus become a headliner at many of the biggest events college and universities have. His calendar is always full during the popular frosh week and he keeps the entertainment buyers happy because his show is politically correct.

“Many are shocked to find out that I don’t have anything against performers who cuss or do filthy material. It’s just not my style and I feel that overall it is degrading to the art form, not to mention limiting the amount of venues you can play”, says the animated entertainer.

“With everything being so politically correct–to a ridiculous degree–it’s very hard for college programmers to book something that won’t get them into trouble or worse. My show squeaks, it’s so clean, and everyone seems to like that fact.”

Orientation / Frosh week is a popular booking time as new students enter campuses and are often intimidated by the size and not knowing anyone. College programmers book fun events to get them familiar and comfortable with their surroundings and often book the Blair Robertson Hypnosis Show for fun and instant spirit building.

“My goal is simple. By the time the show is over I want everyone laughing and they’ll know at least one volunteer that appeared on stage. It loosens the entire crowd up and creates a real tight bond,” says Robertson. “They are tremendous fun to do.”

Hypnotist Shows Build Team Spirit

By Administrator | August 31, 2007

Hypnotist shows are fun, entertaining and build team spirit

Hypnotist shows offer corporate audiences a break from the other “same-old” entertainment options. Additionally hypnotist shows involve many people from your group and are remembered for a long time after.

It is a myth that a hypnotist is dangerous. Nobody can ever get “stuck” in a trance, as no such case has ever been recorded in medical history. At no time will a person do something they truly don’t want to do. Performed by a competent entertainer, the shows are fun and entertaining

Yes, there are good and bad entertainers. Some think it is funny to get volunteers to eat onions while making them believe they are eating apples under the command of a hypnotist. This type of entertainment is degrading and not corporate friendly.

A good performer will create a fun environment and comedy without doing anything to embarrass or humiliate the volunteers. A good performer will not only respect his volunteers, but will also respect the art of being a hypnotist.

These shows afford meeting planners many benefits:

* Hypnotist shows are easy to stage, usually only requiring a few chairs and a sound system
* Booking a Hypnotist has never been as popular as it is today
* The volunteers will enjoy the experience and it will be talked about long after the event is over… making you look good!

Want A Great Christmas Party Idea?

By Administrator | August 27, 2007

Looking For A Great Christmas Party Idea? Hypnotist Show Offers Unique Hilarious Entertainment…

Coming up with a different and unique Christmas party idea can be tough, regardless if you are new to the position or not! Murder mysteries are passé. Bands don’t always appeal to everyone. Comedians can be risky. What’s the perfect Christmas party idea?

In many cases, booking a stage hypnotist or Mindreader can be a fun and different twist to the “same-old”. These entertainers are easy to work with, offer hilarious entertainment, but most of all give you the peace-of-mind that you’ll produce an event that will get you compliments for months.

Here’s a bad Christmas party idea: hire a hypnotist who performs lewd/rude or dangerous stunts. A guy who embarrasses the volunteers and gets them to do lowly stunts such as eating onions and believing they are apples. Does that sound like fun?

Here’s a great Christmas party idea: hire a hypnotist with experience in performing hilarious—yet tasteful—acts. Experienced stage hypnotists will have very few requirements other than an area to perform with clear visibility and a good working sound system. A seasoned performer will make you job easier, will be fun to work with and will bend over backwards to make sure you get the praise you deserve for your hard work.

This years all night grad party is the most important night of the year for most grads. It’s a time to celebrate and have fun. It will be, perhaps, the last time that they will be together as a group. It’s an important night. And you only have one night to get it right!

High School Hypnotist Toronto

By Administrator | August 20, 2007

Here’s yet another article that was posted recently on the net…

If you are looking for a Toronto High School Hypnotist, you’ve found the place…

Since 1983 Toronto High School Hypnotist Blair Robertson has been entertaining tens of thousands of students. But more than being just an entertainer, Robertson has a motivational aspect to his show that educators love.

“I credit my late father for giving me the book ‘Think And Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill. I want students to be more than just entertained, which is 95% of the reason I’m performing at the schools, but I want them also to realize that the human mind has limitless potential to achieve anything,” says Robertson.

His career started by doing hypnosis shows in Toronto and quickly spread across Ontario, then Eastern Canada and eventually the world… taking him as far away as Southern Australia up to the Northern Village of Kuujuack in Canada.

Robertson also built up a reputation for his ultra-clean fast-paced show. Most hypnotists drone on with long explanations and inductions, Robertson starts off with a funny mindreading stunt and quickly gets volunteers up to participate and ultimately star in the show. It’s fast paced and hilarious.

If you hear of a Toronto high school hosting a hypnotist show, chances are very high that it will be him, as he performs close to 100 shows per year.

Company Christmas Party Ideas

By Administrator | August 19, 2007

Looking for the perfect company christmas party idea? Here’s one that will make your party a huge success (and it’s easy too)…

Are you dreading coming up with the perfect company Christmas party idea? Struggling to come up with something different that everyone at the office will actually enjoy? Something they’ll actually turn up for? Well, your Christmas party planning just got easier!

Corporate hypnotist and Mindreader Blair Robertson has been entertaining at Christmas parties for years and offers these company Christmas party idea tips:

Keep it simple. Don’t get bogged down with too many details. You’ll have enough on your plate the night of the event. Keep everything as simple as possible.

Keep it focused. The biggest Christmas party-planning mistake I hear about is spending time and money on things that don’t really matter. Going overboard on decorations for example. People don’t remember the decorations; they remember the fun and social part most.

Keep it in budget. Know your budget clearly beforehand. You’ll save yourself time and trouble. Calling up venues, entertainment, and caterers without knowing your budget wastes both your time and theirs. If you don’t want to reveal your budget, that’s fine. But know it.

Keep it upbeat. Holiday parties are not the time for the CEO’s to make long speeches. The party is to celebrate the holiday. Keep it upbeat. All presentations should be short, brief and upbeat.

Keep it fun. As a committee, find out what your company wants entertainment wise. Bands, DJ’s, Comedians, Murder Mystery? Find out. Try to stay away from the same-old and worn-out events.
What is the perfect Company Christmas Party Idea?

A stage hypnotist or Mindreader is unique, different and upbeat as well as being easy and simple to book. A show that will bring fits of laughter, make the event long remembered and… requires very little effort to present.

MindTrip Television Special Discovery.ca

By Administrator | November 18, 2005

On Monday November 21st I will be appearing on the Discovery Channel Television special “MindTrip: An Exploration Into The Paranormal”. The show will feature myself being tested by 13 students with medical/science backgrounds.

The show airs at 8:00pm EST and features me (Blair Robertson) doing two segments. The first segment is a telepathy and spirit writing demonstration that shocked the students as well as the entire crew. You see, it was shot yesterday at an abandoned and very spooky warehouse!

The second segment features a pendulum demonstration where I teach the students and the viewers at home how to make and use a pendulum.

It was a ton of fun to do! This isn’t your ordinary “psychic” show. The students were a good mix of believers to outright skeptics.

Check you local listings and please tune in. Post a message and let me know your thoughts!

Thanks!
