Election Prediction Update December 8, 2005

I know the results of the upcoming January Election.
I know who will be Prime Minister.
And… I’m pretty confident that I have the number of seats to within two. Hopefully, I’ll have them 100% correct.
A week ago, I was very nervous. Now, I’m very confident.
About a dozen have emailed me asking when the revelation will take place. Here’s the scoop:
Two media outlets have shown interest in featuring the prediction and I should have final details by Monday December 12th. As soon as the details are complete, I’ll post all information here. Suffice to say, ideally the prediction will be sealed in a safe or a vault until the day after the election results… and the prediction will be then revealed.
Exciting to say the least.
I promise you this: this will be the most dramatic and interesting election campaign Canada has seen for years. The polls are going to be all over the place. One day the Liberals will lead, the next the Conservatives… and as we get closer to election day, it will resemble a barroom brawl…

Mini-prediction comes true… December 1, 2005

So, it wasn’t a huge revelation but I did say that I felt the Conservatives would announce a reduction in the G.S.T.
As mentioned–and I’ll say it again–I think that this will be the most interesting election campaign ever. I’m NOT political and I’m not pushing for any party…
But it’s hilarious to me that the Liberals won a landslide years ago based on getting Canadians heated up about the G.S.T. and then keeping the very tax the Conservatives proposed.
Now, the Liberals are putting down the Conservatives saying that a reduction is a BAD idea.
Come on! Lighten up. It’s funny, don’t you think???
This is just the beginning.
Two Week Intuitive Forcast
I predict two things that will happen over the next two weeks:
1. Mr. Martin will exhibit very secretive behavior and prove to be ellusive. All energy expended will be that of offensive attacks on the Conservatives in an effort to repeat the Bogey Man tactics from the last election and discredit Mr. Harper personally.
2. Mr. Harper will do very well during the first two weeks. He will make several minor errors with numbers but will do a very good job of coming “clean” about any perceived hidden agendas.
Having said that, I believe that at the end of the second week, Mr. Martin strategists will pull a surprise on Canadians and take a different track. What will that be? I’m not sure at this point, to be honest. This will balance the polls again to a neck-n-neck race.
Canadians DO realize that the Canadian government needs an enema. And I predict that on January 23rd, they’ll deliver it.

Let the games begin! November 29, 2005
Posted by Administrator in : Uncategorized , add a commentToday Parliament was officially dissolved and the Federal Election was announced for Monday January 23rd 2006.
I’m an entertainer. I’m not political. But I must say that this will be the most interesting election in my time or memory.
Many argued that my prediction back in 1993 was a no-brainer. The Conservatives brought in the much hated G.S.T. and the Liberals campaigned on getting rid of it. They won by an astonishing landslide.
They didn’t get rid of it. In fact, Finance Minister Paul Martin said that it wasn’t possible to replace it.
Which brings me back to my opening comment. You can bet that the Conservatives will most certainly use the G.S.T.–probably will reduce it by 1% or so–and the Liberals will have nothing to argue about!
Again, don’t get me wrong. I’m not siding for anyone here! I’m just commenting on how this will be very fascinating to watch the spin that goes on.
Update:
I’ll be spending today creating my prediction and will seal it for revelation later. I’ve sent out media advisories stating that I have done so. To be fair, the media are going to be getting rolling on following the campaigns and this type of thing doesn’t usually get picked up for a week into the campaigns.

Election Prediction Time Again! November 28, 2005
Posted by Administrator in : Uncategorized , add a commentWell, tonight the historic non-confidence vote brought down the government. No surprise to anyone there!
Tomorrow, the Prime Minister of Canada will go to the Governor General and ask that Parliament be dissolved and it’s Election Time again! It is expected that election day will be on January 23rd and will be confirmed tomorrow.
Once again, I’ll be doing my famous prediction–sealed in advance–with the outcome of the winning party and the amount of seats won.
I’m nervous. In 1993 I got it correct right down to the exact number of seats. Every year since, I’ve missed by one or two. This time… I’m hoping for a direct hit.
I’m currently looking for a media that will keep the prediction under lock and key and will keep you all posted.
